What is a Sea Scout?

Sea Scouts are young men or women ages 14-21 enrolled in a program of water activities. Sea Scouting is aimed at promoting better citizenship and to improve members skills and knowledge through instruction and practice. Many areas covered are: safety, boating skills, outdoor activities, social and service experiences, and knowledge of our maritime heritage. Members are expected to attend meetings, and maintain the ship's motor and sail boats.
